Hair Karma 315

Been coming here for quite some time now, I discovered Hair Karma on IG through Jaz, and I’ve been coming to them ever since. I usually go to Shy or Jaz, depending on which one of them is available for that weekend. It’s either crochet or braids for me, each stylist there does their own thing and they don’t disappoint! 💚❤️ Every time I step in here, it reminds me of my childhood growin’ up—just black women vibin’ and gettin’ beautified. Me loves to see it every time! <3

I usually don’t care if a cut is not exactly what I wanted cause hair grows back. Sadly the experience I had here was that I gave two very specific and simple dos/fonts and both were ignored. I spent 2years growing my hair from completely shaved. It was my natural color and down to my shoulders. I asked to take as little length off and she cut parts of it short that the part in the back that had grown a few inches from being buzzed also. I didn’t want to leave a review but I cried over the 2 years that got cut off because of someone just not paying attention. I don’t tip and felt terrible cause I usually over tip but I could not justify tipping someone for destroying the progress I made with length. I love going to hair karma! The staff is always lovely, very professional and personable! I will continue to go to this shop as all the stylists are great at what they do and make all styles look amazing!

Friendly atmosphere, high energy, I love walking into Hair Karma because I know it’s going to be a vibe. However, the customer care could be a lot better or create a system where they are really focusing on that client and then proceeding to the next. If a client is sitting down at a stylist chair, and they are running behind, late, double booked; working and servicing the first client then the second would create a better customer service experience. That way the service isn’t rushed and the client isn’t annoyed. I’ve been to the salon 3x, and twice I had to get up from my chair, wait, and then continue with my service. This shouldn’t happen at a top tier salon like hair karma. Overall, highly recommend!

I loved being back in the salon after many years of doing house calls .. the staff is friendly and relatable prices are reasonable .. if you buy braiding hair I would highly recommend bringing your own .. although the quality is good packs are 3 for 25 single packs and it added an additional 50$ to my total price..
