Nice lady, I asked to get my hair straightened and I had to go home and do it myself,(left with blow dried hair)then I noticed she cut off wayy more hair than she needed to (initially armpit length) and my ends were even more split. Wouldn’t recommend this place if you have curly hair..

Ellen may have been a good hair stylist years ago but she clearly is not today. I had found her and recommended her to my son who recently moved to Baltimore. She must have cut his hair without her glasses on because it may be the absolute worst hair cut he has ever received in his lifetime and will take years to grow back. I would give less than one star if possible.

She was incredibly nice. However she does not know how to cut men’s hair. If you are an Asian male with straight hair I would recommend going somewhere else.

Ellen is an awesome hairdresser. During my time at Hopkins, I've always had her cut my haircut, and always looking sharp. She is very pleasant to talk to! You'll discover unbelievable stories about Baltimore. It's already very affordable, but on top of that, she offer discount for students! I'll miss her, that's for sure.

You need to come here! I'm new to the neighborhood and didn't know a good place to get my hair done. I totally lucked out with Ellen! She went WAY above and beyond to do my color and cut perfectly, staying much later than her usual closing time and she was pleasant and kind the whole time. She is fun to talk to and knows all about Charles Village. Thank you so much Ellen. I will definitely be coming back.
