Hairspace is such a great salon! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm, inviting, and stylish without feeling overwhelming. The team is incredibly welcoming, friendly, and truly makes you feel comfortable and cared for. A major plus is that they carry Loma, a locally produced haircare line made right in Monroe WA, with clean ingredients. It’s always wonderful to support local businesses, especially when the products are high quality and actually deliver amazing results. Parking is a breeze, which just makes the whole experience even better. If you haven’t tried Hairspace yet, you absolutely need to! Highly recommend! ✨

As someone with curly/textured hair I know How important it is to find a stylist you trust. Karena has been cutting my hair for years. We’ve gone from shag to mullet to bob. She’s very patient with me and never disappoints!! I’ve sent coworker and family to her and I get compliments daily on my hair!

I got the worst hair cut of my life here. Karena is a really nice girl but I would not trust her near hair with a 10 foot pole. I’m several hundred dollars and a few months out from her hair cut and I still feel like crying when I look in the mirror. The stylists who have tried to fix it said she used the wrong tools and basically had no idea what she was doing, given my hair texture, which is insane because I had a consult with her ahead of time and asked her specifically if she could work with my hair texture and she assured me she could. My hair is destroyed and it will take so much more money and time to become even remotely presentable. Would not recommend this salon based on my experience.

Blo Hair lounge is an amazing salon!! Best of the best. The owner, Kim is super knowledgeable about all things hair, one of the kindest, most genuine, down to earth person I’ve met. All of the stylists are top notch. The vibe at the salon is super chill, with a great view of Tacoma. I LOVE this salon, always feel so welcome here.

I followed Miya here from her previous salon and I'm so glad I did!!! I'm generally an introvert and the WORST at committed relationships with stylists, but Miya just makes it so easy and enjoyable. She's fun to talk to and keep up with, and is the girl to see for bright, vivid colors. Plus, the salon is so cute and low key, always has parking out front, and has an insane view from the shampoo station!
