I had a very great experience here. I had to reschedule and was running late due to work . They were flexible and extremely patient . I had gotten small boho and Leo was so gentle , i didn’t even realize she was braiding! The environment is clean and peaceful. Would definitely recommend and come back !

I love it here!! Second time coming and i originally booked with Diamond but she wasnt available last minute so the owner K was gonna do my hair. Not gonna lie it was a honor. Anyway we warmed up to each other good i told her what design i had last time and what i was hoping for this time, showed her my inspo and she did not disappoint!!! I got peekaboo Boho french curls braids with a pink and black design she absolutely did that she advised me on what she thought was best i was open to her ideas and she always asked me before she did anything like cutting some pieces and she got my vision to a T. Will definitely be back for a retouch!

I had an amazing experience at HairstylesbyK! K, the stylist, did an incredible job with my braids, creating a beautiful design that matched the exact model I showed her. The other stylists were also punctual and took their time to wash, dry, and detangle my hair without causing any pain (I’m very sensitive when it comes to this, and it’s the first time I’ve had so little discomfort while getting cornrows). Got my hair braided here for the first time. I am pleased with the outcome. The braids weren’t tight, which was my concern Diamond did my hair and she was very kind. Will be returning for sure.

LOVE how my hair turned out and the braider even took the time to redo some parts that didn't look even, and going to ALOT of braiders around NYC, this was the first time I've ever experienced a braider actually redo the braid without you having to tell them that something is off. I really appreciate that because I'm on the shy side of getting my braids done and wanted them to come out as expected or better. The best part is she knew every technique to get the best result, and I consider myself pretty smart, and she used every suggestion that I knew should have been the result, and I commend the absolute knowledge and experience, and for the price, 1000% worth it.
