Two grandkids in for a re-twist of their hairs new growth. It look worse when they came out than when they went in, whatever she used the hair had white specs all the way through it, and they look like they had gray hair when it completely dried. Dreads was all over their head, like you had just unplugged them from a light socket. Whatever gel/ spray they use was absolutely the worst or should I say the cheapest product they probably could find. I will never take them back there again. They are supposed to be professionals at what they do and this looks just like somebody that has had no experience/training with locs at all. Their 20 year-old sister did an absolute better job than these professional women. I will definitely stay clear of this place, paid a lot of money for a lousy service

I have been going here for a few years and have left happy every time … even if i have to come back. I usually get some variation of box braids and they’re pretty consistent with that style regardless of how many people are working on my head. Recently I got faux locs and the two braiders clearly have different techniques cause the style to look not like the picture I showed. The owner jumped in and fixed the whole back immediately and the next day they fixed the front. This whole situation could have been avoided if I was told exactly what hair to get for the style. Overall I feel like they do good work but could definitely work on communicating better; pricing, expectations, styles, time, etc. Just be ready to explain what you want, have pictures, know the hair they work best with and wr

Think twice before going to Haka’s (view pictures) On May 21, 2023, I decided to go to Haka African Braiding, LLC for the first time because I was short on time and could not make the trip to my regular braider, this was my first mistake. I am furious and utterly disappointed with the quality of my braids, which is an understatement. We all hold hair service providers to high standards, as it is an extension of what we present to the world.  This experience has been a complete letdown. Not only did I pay $200 for the style, along with $100 for the hair and an extra $20 tip for the braiders time, but the braider showcased an alarming lack of skill and expertise from the very beginning.
