I have short nails. All I wanted was a gel manicure. I asked for chrome. Nails too short. Cats eye nails too short. I asked about 4-5 times for the tech to please remove the polish off my skin. She takes the cuticle cutter and cuts my skin instead of cleaning it up. I asked for help from other tech. She just told me to go back to her. I called and spoke to Ammie who was very rude and dismissive. I explained to her what happened. Her reply was “ what do you want me to do?” I don’t live close by like I can just turn around. Today I went and spoke to Peter. I requested for a refund. THEY DO NOT GIVE REFUNDS!! Told me to come back. I would never.

While I was getting my nails done I had to ask for someone else to please help with the shape because they didn’t know how to do almond shape. 1 week later this is how my nails look. Two broke, 1 color completely fell off like a press on and many of them are lifting. THIS IS POWDER. Not regular gel. And even if it was gel it shouldn’t happen after a week. But powder?, absolutely not. I RECOMMEND YOU NEVER GO HERE, SPEND YOUR MONEY ON A DRINK OR A BURGER But going here is a waste of money and you’ll definitely not be content when you leave..

I don’t get my nails done regularly but have had a good experience each time I come to Hana Nails and prefer it to other salons in the neighborhood. I had a nice conversation with Annie while getting gel mani and regular pedicure. They accommodated my walk in and it was a nice and quick service.

As the reviews reflect, it can be a bit of a hit or a miss here (I’ve gotten a pedicure here that was the most slap dash bare minimum effort) but today I got a soft gel manicure from Emily and she was phenomenal!! She was gentle and incredibly meticulous, checking my nails for smoothness and defects after each step. She even noticed a crooked nail I have and accordingly adjusted its shape; and she smoothed out the natural bumps in my nails too. The results are comparable to those I’ve only ever gotten from individual artists or Russian manicures.

Asked for a chrome gel manicure. I understand if the color didn’t come out quite right, but it became really frustrating when the basics like texture and the coating of the nail are uneven even after multiple attempts of fixing. It doesn’t look good, even before she applied the chrome powder. And this shouldn’t take more than a hour to do. The technician, after realizing how it came out had no remorse, doesn’t seem like she cared to actually fix the problem, tried to push me to get another style, got irritated and rough. Very disappointed and now I gotta go somewhere else to get it redone.
