Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa

I cannot recommend this place enough. I have had a couple of massages here now, and I have only wonderful things to say. The ambiance is great, it’s always clean and welcoming, and the staff are always friendly and personable. I had a massage with Bre today for the first time, and I will absolutely be requesting her for my next massage. This was by far the best massage I’ve ever had. Her attention to detail was fantastic, she took care of all of my problem areas, and even got rid of knots and tension I didn’t even know existed. She went above and beyond to make this experience absolutely fantastic, from adjusting the volume of the music, to ensuring the massage bed was adjusted to make me as comfortable as possible, I cannot say enough good things. These folks do not explain things well. My daughter had a package and we cancelled it with two remaining services. When I tried to call and cancel the one service the day before no one answered, and we lost that service as a result since a parent/guardian must be present. That one was understood. However, when my daughter made an appointment for a facial, they did not remind her that an adult must be present for that as well. She showed up and they told her that an adult had to be present. They also told her that I, as her mother, could call in and schedule that last service for myself. When I called in to do that today, I was told that there were no remaining services and that they had to cancel with the aesthetician and therefore we lost the service. This may get long but here it is. I have been a member at Hand and Stone for almost 2 years and this is my first time at Burleson location. We always go to Camp Bowie location. I called and spoke with Paige and informed her that I wanted to get a couples massage. It was NEVER explained to me that my $79 membership fee, which we both have, wouldn't cover the full massage. After the massage, went up front to check out and the lady says "You're aware there is a $10 pp fee for the couple's massage, how would you like to pay!" I then informed her that i was not informed of this when i made appt and I have never paid it at other location. She then said oh yea that's been an issue. Long story short she was very RUDE. MaryBeth is wonderful!! I have a lot going on and can get anxious even about getting a massage. She is very intuitive, and always manages to set me at ease. She’s great at finding the spots that need the most work, and always manages to help. I’m very grateful for her kindness and expertise!
