Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa

I got to experience this new location today! I live 1.5 hrs away and signed up for the monthly massages. It was so laid back and I didn’t feel pressured at all. Emilie was amazing. I am excited for the year of taking care of myself!!

Emilie does such a great job. She listens to your needs and makes sure you are comfortable at all times. I have been going to her for a while now and I will continue to.

Concerning hygiene practices during my facial. As a nurse practitioner trained in infection prevention, I immediately noticed improper glove use during my facial at Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa. My aesthetician, Taylor, greeted me already wearing gloves and continued touching multiple surfaces (door handles, a tablet, signage) while wearing them. She then attempted to wash the gloves instead of removing them and performing proper hand hygiene. I ultimately had to ask her to change them and she never did wash her hands before putting new gloves on. While the facial itself was otherwise fine, it was difficult to relax after noticing this. Proper hand hygiene is a basic infection control standard in any skincare service, so I hope this is simply a training opportunity for the team.

Best massage I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot. I went in with neck and shoulder pain that have been causing an awful headache for weeks and I walked out feeling like I had a religious experience! Nathan was a professional, and I’ve already booked my follow up appointment!
