Hands On Massage and Facial Spa

The best therapist out there period is Martin. He does medical massages and is great for those who are active in sports. Can’t say enough good things. Especially if you play tennis or golf. It’s intense but totally fixes major muscle issues. Strongly recommend.

I’ve been a regular at Hands On Massage for about two years, and I’ve never experienced massage therapists as intuitive at finding and addressing what’s going on in the body. If you have a problem that needs fixing, Martin is your guy. He’s a quirky and jokes during the session, but he truly knows what he’s doing. I appreciate that Martin is always learning new techniques for his client’s needs. I recently saw Cindy, who is also incredible. She’s less intense than Martin, yet skillfully combines a relaxing atmosphere while addressing specific issues. I’m a fan!

I’ve had fantastic massages and a facial at Hands On Massage. Last summer I had an injury and they really helped me through it. I’ve also gifted their massages. Great place, great people!

I got a massage with Martin, it was a bizarre experience: 1. insisted on showing me old photos of him as a chippendale (?) 2. invited me to a party hes throwing in maplewood 3. insisted i should be a gymnast based on my physique 4. metallica blasted in the middle of the massage 5. im pretty sure he was texting while massaging my legs? 6. massage itself was really bad, he would start massaging a body part for maybe 3 minutes, move on to the next part and so on. so none of the knots or tension i had was actually addressed. the whole thing was really incoherent and sloppy. 6. when i told the woman (maybe the owner?) at the front desk that the massage was not great, but i would still pay for it, she got mad at me. will not be returning

Went in for a couples massage on Valentines Day. The room was tiny for $140 per person! You couldn’t even walk around in there. My husband rated his massage 4 stars and mine was a 2 star so I am giving the overall experience 3 stars. I asked my massage therapist to concentrate on my lower back and she spent maybe 2-3 minutes on my back. She also kept getting up. I definitely did not get a 50 minute massage. Won’t be returning.
