I grew up going here for mani/pedis with my mom. Unfortunately, the quality has really gone downhill. I went just before the holidays with my friend to get a gel/mani pedi, and the work they did was sloppy at best. Not only that, they saw me looking at my nails, clearly displeased, and ignored it, telling me that the polish all over my cuticle would wash off in the sink. The gel manicure started to peel in less than a week, likely due to the sloppy application. It was a whopping $76 for a gel manicure+pedicure that barely lasted. I could do a better job myself at home for much less. I am very disappointed to say this, but I will not be coming back here.

Great place to purchase quality hair products.

Visited this store seeking a product to hold styled curls. I was advised to purchase an expensive heat protectant, and the salesperson assured me it would work to fix curls. However it doesn't. This experience left me feeling disappointed and somewhat misled, despite the store generally having what I need.

One of the only beauty supply stores left in the Crescenta Valley! Very helpful service and has every product I need at a fair price! I'm glad they are still in business. 🙂 Amazon doesn't give customers the kind of experienced advice Hans gives.

I have been shopping at Hans for years. Their customer service has always been adequate, nothing fancy. I buy a lot of their high end products, never leaving without spending $100-300. The other day I bought a $50 curling iron plus 2 other items totaling $150. To me the curling iron didn’t work but when I tried to return it I was told I bought the wrong one - I bought one for professional use. I started to return it for the correct one but was told I couldn’t because the box was torn. I told them it would have been impossible to get it out without tearing the box. She said I needed to be careful and would not return it. I told her not a problem but I will never return to their store and I left. I left quite angry and will not return again
