Haus Of Passion

Part I. The Haus of Passion does hair extremely well. They are very good at what they do. Unfortunately, it ends there. Read their policy guidelines and ask yourself why the need to state certain policies (i.e, Do not take off from work for your appointment). It is commonplace for the stylist to cancel your appointment 30-60 minutes prior, arrive late, or simply say your hair cannot be attended to. This is all done without apology. Follow the Haus of Passion on IG. That will tell you all you need to know about professionalism. Book here at your own risk. If you actually are attended to, you will leave with beautiful hair. The problem is that the likelihood your appointment is kept for the time or day stated is very low. I would say 30% chance. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere

I first began my dreads with this wonderful hair stylist. She has been professional, patient, welcoming, and creative each time. There is no service anywhere better than this. She is funny & versatile. Hospitality and conversations are on a hundred. And the fact that it’s all done through love and care, solidifies her foundation and business.

Part II. Fast forward & I noticed that Sym was doing hair & established her own clientele and portfolio. I was super proud of her and couldn't wait to have her hands in my hair again! I booked an appointment for a wash & passion twists. I asked if hair was included because I didn't see that on the website (apparently, they both get annoyed if you pose questions to them even if the information isn't on their website). She said it wasn't but if I wanted the hair included, I would need to send $25 for the hair & pick-up fee. I sent that along with the $50 deposit. Given my experience with the mom, I texted Sym the day before to confirm that we were still on for 2 pm, that the hair was bought, and that I was also confirming my wash. She said we were all set but I should arrive at least 1/2 hou

Completely unprofessional, not punctual, and inconsiderate. The irony is that the stylists do hair well but that’s if they actually do your hair! They are infamous for cancelling day of, not honoring the time agreed upon, or may even refuse to do your hair. Stay far away or book at your risk. My experience and that of my loved ones has never been pleasant.

Absolutely loved the way my hair came out but getting it done was a problem. They forgot about my appointment and they had to reschedule. I was fine with that, but then for my rescheduled appointment I had to sit and wait for 4 hours before I even sat in the chair my appointmentwas at 10am not 2pm. I still have not received the money back that I told I would receive for the inconvenience.
