Years ago, I lived opposite to Hawa. One day, she saved my daughter’s hair after another braider did a horrible job. Ever since, for over 10 years, whenever I need my hair braided, I go to Hawa. She and her team are friendly, clean, provide hair, gentle, exceptional and quick braiders. I highly recommend Hawa and her team! REMINDER: Please always tip your braiders!

Asked for 1B braiding hair to match my curly human hair but they used 1A without letting me know. Very unprofessional and they lack communication skills.

I’m never going to this damn spot again. It’s sweet because it’s family owned but they are the type to charge you whichever way the wind blows. I come in for box braids, they charge me $180. I get the same style a 3rd time and it’s $200. No particular reason. Now they have a pricing chart that SAYS it’s 180. I come back and get knotless braids the woman goes well how much did you pay last time? I’m like your list says 180. She gave me attitude so I have her the extra $20 and not a cent more. I’ll go across the street. For all of that I’ll pay the extra $20-40 for better service. And btw normally I would TIP $20 but she probably thought I was doing it by mistake.

It was a good experience, but should be more friendly to their customers by talking to them as well. I came back to update my experience. The hair braiders do not know how to do knotless braids. They use too much hair at the beginner of the braid and not your hair . My braids turned out to be heavy box braids that I ended up taking out 4 weeks later. Do not go here!!
