I want to thank Hawa Hair Braiding for doing my hair. People often say you should go natural and how much better it would be, but they don’t realize that it’s a journey. I struggled with the stares and judgment that came with transitioning to natural hair. I’ve been going to Hawa Hair Braiding since they were on Chicago and Greenfield, and they have always treated me like family. She took her time, never judged me, and never made me feel like I had to explain myself just because my hair was short. I truly appreciate them. Thank you, Hawa, for everything!

My experience was absolutely horrible. First the lady was on the phone almost the entire time my hair was being done. Second they did not use the same hair on the back of my hair that is in the front. I have Ty Zillions done every 3 to 4 months for the last two years.. they finished my hair in two hours. Didn't clean cut the hair left out the braids. It's three weeks later I've lost several braids. Went back to get them fixed and the lady got smart remarks because I'm unsatisfied with this messy hair do. This style normally last for 3 months. I'm forced to take it out at 3 weeks.. I feel like I've been robbed. I'm never ever going back. First time was the last. They suck!!!!!! Five stars my butt! That's a bold face lie!!!

They can braid hair I give them that but one lady got a attitude an started braiding my hair crooked an uneven an when I asked her wat was this she got smart saying that's ur hair. Then the owner came an had to correct the work on my braids. The other problem was the shop was kinda nasty had to wave 👋🏻 off files the whole time.
