Read full review!!! Ive went to Hazel O. Salon for a bit over a year due to looking for natural hair care for black women hair that didn't require straightening. I was a consistent client on an every 3 week basis when not in extention braids. Never canceled or was late and always tipped well. Absolutely loved my stylist Lwam as she did give me a simple braid up style to keep my hair protected and healthy until I returned. The prices were astronomical of my paying $150 for wash and a style that would typically cost $85-100 elsewhere but given the innersense products and the great work/soft braiding the stylist did, I stuck with it. Hailie did a great job coloring and styling my hair! Very professional and took her time during the process to make sure it was perfect. Location is clean and cozy.

I get my hair done by Diana she is amazing and very professional. She always ensures I leave happy with the healthiest hair for the blonde services I get. Just got a color correction done by her and my hair looks amazing.

Got a nice haircut though minimal, and charged for a full price cut. Wanted color. Paid for a color consult, only to find they could not accommodate the ammonia free color. Salon did not offer to refund the consult, despite when making the appointment advised that I'd need ammonia free. I consider this a standard salon and not "upscale" as advertised. Upscale salons can accommodate such a request. Disappointing given I needed the touch up for a special occasion and missed my window to get it done elsewhere. Likely would not recommend unless you're getting basic cut or color done. $220 is a lot given the above. Update to reply: Clients have sensitivities and it's not a reach to ask for ammonia free these days. Not looking for a one size fits all. Just a basic solution.

First time at this salon...I followed Ivy here who now offers her waxing services here. I had been seeing her for about a year before she moved locations and I was so happy to see her turn up at Hazel! She is hands down the best at waxing/sugaring. I went to another person for a Brazilian while she was in transition and it was not nearly as good so I'm so happy to have her back. Highly recommend!
