I took my 7 year old son there to have a much needed haircut, and I was told, “I don’t know how to deal with that. I’ve never styled that kind of hair.” I asked what did he mean? All I wanted was a bald fade. Doesn’t matter what kind of hair it is, all I wanted was for him to cut it off. It seemed as though we were refused service for being black. I thought this was 2018.
