I came in to get my haircut fixed from my own failed attempt to trim and style my hair for the first time and the owner did a fantastic job! Not only was he very nice chatting with me, but also professional and kind, asking plenty of questions before cutting. He encouraged me to tell him if I don't like it so he could keep working away at it. He did a good job reading my face because I'm very hesitant to critique as to not hurt anyone's feelings but he was so incredibly reassuring and helpful making me comfortable enough to speak up until I'm completely satisfied grinning from ear to ear looking at my hair in the mirror! I was very hesitant to write this review as I really do like Ray, the shop’s owner, he is incredibly nice and has given me multiple great haircuts and I didn’t want to hurt his business by any means! However after sleeping on it, I couldn’t keep my frustrations bottled up any longer… I made an appointment yesterday afternoon for a beard trim, which started at $10, with Ray. I have tried giving myself beard fades multiple times but was unsatisfied and decided I would let a professional do it next time around. When I walked into the shop I was greeted politely by Ray, as always. He told me, though, that his back was aching and asking if someone else could perform my service. Ray over at Headrush is one of the best! I had my first cut there on Friday and found it to be my new favorite spot. The location is nice and clean, and has an upscale look and feel. The pricing was spot on for a premium haircut. Ray was friendly and professional. I'll be back and you should visit this location too.

My then girlfriend (now wife's) response to my first hair cut at Headrush was that it was easily the best hair cut she'd seen on me (which at that point we'd already been dating for two years or so, so she had seen several). Given that ringing endorsement, I've continued to go back, despite now living nearly 45 minutes away. Ray is an absolute artist and the service is top notch. Whenever I leave, I always feel like a million bucks. It makes it super easy for me to justify the trip back again in a couple of months. If you need your hair cut, this is the place to go!

Amy was precise, calculated, and like a surgeon with my hair. She was extremely cautious about what length to trim it to and how it would look after the cut. Not many stylists are in that range and level. Highly recommended!
