Heavenly Cuts

This is my go-to barbershop in the "hood." It's a meeting spot for most elderly gentlemen who love to converge to chew the fat on the corner of 26th and Marshall Avenue in the City of Newport News, VA. David Doan, owner, is a down-to-earth brother, who gives all of his customers a fair chance. He's a philanthropist and a no-nonsense people-person. If I'm not mistaken, He may be the only licensed barber. However, several of the barber chairs are made available for apprentice individuals who may be furthering his/her vocational skills in the barbering business. He trains his staff well and ensures that they are meeting state and regulatory standards and protocols. Little Ron does awesome work with autism children so patient with cutting there hair he talks to them to make them feel comfortable with him cutting there hair, no other Barbershop does this , I've carry my great grandson to many shops know one seem to wanted take the time to cut his hair even when I pay extra for it

I absolutely love the atmosphere there. I used 2 go there a dude that cut hair with Dave always had me fresh man. Dave my unc has always been doing his thing as well. I'm actually headed there right now 4 a cut right now. It's time I get rid of caveman look lol. Guys u are dope and continue doing your thing. #supportgreatblackbusines.

It's not the best location. Barbers are pretty good.
