I’ve had my haircut by both Gilbert and Heather, and can’t speak highly enough about them. They listen to what you need and are looking for and are able to deliver. Consistent, friendly, detail oriented, and the haircuts are quick. Definitely recommend this shop for a cut whenever you need it. They take appointments as well as walk-ins, so you can’t really beat it. Best spot on the East Side!

I've been going to High Road pretty much since they opened. I'll usually get a haircut and beard trim. Both Gilbert and Heather know their stuff!

Gilbert was my barber for about 3 years at The Barber’s Den. Before then I was searching for a barber that was attentive, skillful, consistent, and personable. However, it’s not always easy to find and connect with a barber on a personal level. I had always appreciated Gilbert’s attention to detail. He kept me looking fresh all the time. On top of everything, Gilbert is an awesome person. He’s truly dedicated to his passion, and keeps an open mind to make sure you are happy with every cut. I was sad to see him go, but also happy to see that he will flourish in his own barbershop 😀 I don’t think anyone will be disappointed after one visit, so hurry up and get yourself to the High Road Barbershop!!!!

Not only is he an excellent barber, but he's really friendly and easy to get along with, no matter who you are. Want to tell him all about your summer plans? Gilbert will keep the conversation going. Want to just sit there and zone out while he does his thing? That's okay, too. Gilbert doesn't judge. He thinks you're great just the way you are.
