HK Braiding

This place is my go to. I won’t be returning . I drive all the way from the other side of town just to get my hair braided here but this one particular time my hair looked horribl from the parting to the size I asked for small knotless BoHo the price was $280. I called to get my hair fixed because I was not OK with what was done for her to do absolutely nothing different and to tell me next time get extra small cut my braid out including my boho hair jus to do the same thing

I’ve been to this salon a few times because my regular stylist was booked, and unfortunately I’ve had a negative experience each time. The boho pieces in my braids started slipping out shortly after getting them done on multiple visits, which is disappointing and embarrassing considering the price.The service also feels very rushed. Different braiders kept switching in and out without anyone communicating how I wanted my hair done. Because of this, the styles were not consistent. The parting was rushed as well, some of my parts are large while others are medium, which makes the style look uneven. Another issue was professionalism. One of the braiders repeatedly put the braiding hair in her mouth and was breathing heavily breathing in my face, which made the experience uncomfortable. Pricin

THEY CUT MY REAL HAIR! I was a walk in and I went to go get my hair done for my upcoming labor. Not sure who my stylist was but she was braiding so fast that she didn’t tuck all my hair in the braid. She took out scissors and just cut the piece of hair that was sticking out and told me it was the braiding hair. I had a feeling she had cut my real hair but I couldn’t confirm it until I took the braids out and sure enough she did cut a piece of my real hair. Would never return.

Ms. Ellen and her staff were wonderful! I came in today at 10am. They take walk ins and was finished by 130ish. I had made an appointment with another braider who had an emergency and I canceled with her and came to HK Braiding. They were so sweet and professional (I am real tender headeded lol). I will be back!!!

Poor communication. Had to call to get them to confirm my appointment request, then days later I get a text to pay the deposit to lock in the appointment at which time I would receive an email confirming. I paid the deposit and waited almost 2 weeks. Never got the email, and now my texts aren’t going through like I’ve been blocked…scamming for $25 is crazy work.
