Honore Salon

My daughter started going to this salon last year. Her hair is thick, very wavy. She has sensitive skin but has not had a breakout from any of the products this salon uses. Her stylist was helpful, encouraging and supportive. This salon is clean. They use wonderful products. The prices are reasonable. I highly recommend their services!

Mallory does a fantastic job. She does both my teenagers hair son & daughter. If you have teenagers- you know how particular they are about their hair. Both of my kids love that Mallory listens to them and does a fantastic job! She’s hip and always knows what will look great. Thank you again Mallory.

This was the most relaxing 45 minutes I've had in months. I got a wash and cut, and I could literally feel every muscle in my shoulder relax with Mallorys hands in my hair. Like a little cleaning massage. I legit asked her how much they'd charge if I just came in and wanted her to wash my hair. Lol. The actual haircut was relaxing as well. I didn't know that could be a thing, but the background music and quiet atmosphere made it so. I didn't think to ask for a quiet appointment but when I told her I just wanted to relax she just did her thing and let me chill. The haircut was a correction from a cut I got at Tuscany and it turned out better than I thought it would. The atmosphere at Honore is relaxed and still fun. It is inviting and comfortable. The welcome staff over the years has always impressed me with their professionalism. Kristin is always amazing. I’m so impressed each time that I see her with her intensive knowledge of my hair type’s needs and also hair product pros and cons for my specific hair. I feel like when I see her, she genuinely cares about the health of my hair as well as its overall appearance. She knows what I like, listens to what I have to say, and gives expert advice. She is the ultimate professional with an easygoing demeanor, and I truly can’t recommend her enough.

This is one of the few salons in Kalamazoo still masking. They have air filters, a filter on the HVAC system, and masks. If you're vaccinated, you don't need a mask, but everyone working there is masked all day. I am high risk and really appreciated this. For my first haircut in over two years, Mallory worked magic. She not only understood what I tried to explain and describe, but she was gentle, caring, and kind. If you have pain issues, she's the one to see! She understood my wavy hair and gave me an absolutely amazing easy-care cut that is so flattering. I got weepy seeing how much better she made me look after all this time. Everyone there is so kind and understanding, and if you have health issues, it's the place to go in Kalamazoo.
