House of Hands

I chose House of Hands because it is black owned. The saying never judge a book by its cover is a very true statement. My first thought when walking up to the business was why there was no doorbell and you had to knock. Walking in, it was small but neat and organized. Everyone that I encountered was friendly and professional. Meeting our therapists (this was a couples massage) I was really skeptical because they both looked so young. We were then counseled on our massage touching on areas that needed more attention. I was able to ask questions and address any concerns. The massage was absolutely amazing! My partner had Shewrita and I had Duey, don’t let their small stature and young appearance fool you. These were 2 very strong well equipped therapist giving us both phenomenal massages. W

Today my spouse and I were massaged by 2️⃣ of the most gifted hands in Chicago. Duey and Jovan. Please treat your aching body to a hot stone massage or deep tissue. I didn’t leave without scheduling a follow-up massage session. Health is Wealth. The business was clean and very well decorated.

Just left here, received a 90 min session, and I’m elated that I found this business. I was sore and achy from a recent road trip and I’m leaving feeling completely relaxed and ready for a nap. The massage was so good I literally came out of my wig, didn’t even notice nor mind one bit lol. Thank you so so much Jovan for taking great and gentle care with my body head to toe and extra kudos for being a black owned establishment with genuine care and professionalism. So please secure your wig properly and come support this business! I will be back soon with friends ☺️

I just had my first but certainly not my last massage at House of Hands! First and foremost…. ITS BLACK OWNED! Secondly, this was the first massage I’ve ever had (and I’ve had some great massages in my life) that not only focused on the knots and kinks in my body, but stretching, AND relieving pressure points! Jovan found areas I didn’t even know were problem areas, applied the right pressure and released spaces in my shoulders/legs/hips that I didn’t even know was tense! I will absolutely be back! After my favorite black owned spa closed I didn’t think I would find another one that could come close but Jovan and House of Hands put that thought to rest!
