Hush Salon Philadelphia

I moved to Philly from NYC and used to go back just to get my hair cut. I’ve been coming here for about a year now, and honestly, I’ll never look back. Everyone here is talented, welcoming, and has great energy — even the hair washes are next-level. Adam gives flawless blowouts, and Carlos is the absolute best. He totally gets my curly, frizzy hair and somehow makes it look effortless every time. The Cezanne keratin treatment has been a complete game changer — no harsh chemicals or smell, and it keeps my hair smooth for months. And of course, hanging with Ruby (the cutest shop dog ever) makes every trip. Hush is easily one of the best salons I’ve been to — in Philly or NYC.

Went to hush for the first time recently and my experience was INCREDIBLE thanks to my wonderful stylist Ainslee!!!! She was so sweet and interested in me, made me feel right home. Aside from the general hospitality, she is GOOOOOD AT HER JOB!!!! I had no idea what I wanted with my hair, only that I wanted a switch up for the fall. Ainslee so kindly walked me through several options that she felt would fit me and my hair the best! It was so helpful!!!! And she was spot on, I have never gotten so many compliments on my hair :) she cut and color and I honestly have never been so satisfied! Book here and let Ainslee take over lol she will do what she needs to do. Trust

My first experience at this salon was phenomenal! Along with the gorgeous interior design this establishment has to offer, my stylist Ainslee was incredibly sweet and gave me an amazing big chop that was much needed for my hair. She is someone that will really listen to you and your needs and is so so accommodating. Her work was so quick and efficient and I would definitely go back to her!

Ainslee is my stylist and everytime I’ve gotten my hair cut and colored by her, I love the results. She always makes sure to make my vision come to life. Even when I’ve asked to give my flat, straight hair more movement, she’s done magic. I also love her bright and friendly personality. She makes the sessions more comfortable for me even tho I’m super introverted. This time I came in for a chemo cut and wanted to do something fun so we did a bob with a side shave and teal tips. She made sure all my needs were met and was super compassionate about my cancer and hair journey. She also checked in to make sure things were okay for my scalp. Ainslee not only does beautiful work, but I've also never felt so comfortable with a stylist before! She asks the best questions to really understand what I want done. She does the best job explaining what her plan is and what the results, maintenance and future appointments will look like. At this point Ainslee has done every type of coloring service on my hair, (balayage, single process, lowlights, etc.) and always somehow exceeds my expectations. I also have suuuuuper fine hair but Ainslee somehow always cuts it in a way that makes it look and feel so full and bouncy!
