HX Salon

I went to this salon because I have curly hair, and other places never seemed to get it right. I was a little nervous at first, as anyone is when trying a new salon, but I’m so glad I went! I met with Megan, told her what I wanted, and without even showing her any photos, she cut and styled my hair exactly how I envisioned it. She completely nailed it! Megan was super friendly and made me feel comfortable right away. The whole salon had such a welcoming vibe from the moment I walked in. She even gave me a discount card for my next visit, which was such a nice touch. I left feeling confident and so happy with my curls. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Today, I went to my hair color appointment and was very dissatisfied with the service. I showed Barbara the exact hair color look I wanted, but she seemed to misunderstand my choice. Unfortunately, she ended up doing the worst hair color on my hair. She had a significant communication problem, and the other staff members were also rude. I highly recommend avoiding this place for hair color, especially if you have dark black hair and want a specific look. They simply do not listen to their clients' wishes.

I didn't want to make a post in anger but it's been a month since I went there to discuss my awful results. In May I got the Magic Sleek treatment done on my hair only for it to fade. I went back in July to discuss the results. I have been using sulfate free shampoo, I haven't gone swimming since May and I wash my hair about once a week. When I met with HX salon in July they said they've never seen anything like this happen and they were shocked. I was initially told this would last until November only to have frizz come back as though I never received the treatment. I was offered a conditioning treatment when I discussed the results in July, but I paid over $350 for something that was supposed to last until November. I really feel like I was cheated out of my money.

Got my bangs trimmed and my length curled and couldn't be happier. The hairdresser was sweet, friendly, helpful, and professional, and was able to get me an appointment less than half an hour from my call. I will definitely be coming back!

This place is great, everybody is so pleasant and friendly. Barbara is the best, she does great color and highlights. If you need to find a good place to get your hair done you found it !! Also if you’re hungry there’s a small food court downstairs!
