IDA AFRICAIN HAIR BRAIDING

I’m not sure about the braids services but I don’t think I would recommend this place for a sewing. My first service there and probably my last .the price was reasonable but I think the lady really need to go learn how to sew in weave properly.

This lady was nasty and rude didn't know how to do crochet Braids .My head looked terrible. I spent 80 dollar on the hair and 120 .00 for the braids .she didn't do my hair right the time .But had already paid her. I went back the next day it took several hours for her to reduce it and top that I had to take braids out was itchy extremely bad ..But when took the braids out all my hair came out .you ladies please dont go Ida African braiding shop she a mess in itself. I lost hair and time and money..

This is my first and last experience unfortunately. Ms. Ida ensured me that my hair was long enough to be braided and that she could do my hair easy (she seemed even insulted i wanted to check to see if my hair was too short) we set an appointment for 10am the following day and she was 30 minutes late. I figured she was out getting hair but she went to get coffee. Halfway into the service i already know I’m either going to loose my hair (she braids so tight and heavy) or have to shave it off and start over again. She leaves to go get hair and stops multiple times to talk to people or be on the phone. Fast forward 9 hours later, there are no parts in my head, all I see is scalp, my middle part is nonexistent, my hair is sticking out some braids, the braids are heavy and stiff. I can’t even

Had my hair done today by Ida very pleased with the service and the advice she gave for my hair type. Definitely will be back. The price was very reasonable.

I call this place looking to get small twist with human hair added. I talked to a lady and texted her a picture of the style that I wanted. I made an appointment on a Saturday at noon and paid the $20 deposit fee, which I did all this a week prior to the actually date I was scheduled to come in. I arrived to my appointment only to be turned around because “she doesn’t do twist so late in the day” and then proceeds to tell me she wasn’t the one that booked my appointment, it was her cousin. Even though she told me she knew about my appointment 2 days prior. I wanted to give this place a try because of the good reviews but the way my appointment was cancel the day I arrived was very unprofessional.
