Ileana Dominican Hair salon

I have been going to Ileana’s for years! I started waaaay back when she had her smaller shop. I get everything for my hair done here, color, cut and washes. Iris did my color and it was beautifully layered. They even deep condition detangle after I wear braids. Wonderful staff with very LOW turnover.

First time customer here and the experience was 10/10. Milly was my hairstylist very kind and knowledgeable. She did an amazing job repairing my hair in just one visit. She talked me through all of the steps and gave me tips on how to take care of my hair. The salon is beautiful and I got one of the best washes I ever had. I was greeted with smiles by every employee in the salon. The prices are amazing and the products they use are great. I left the salon very happy and will be returning!

10/10 experience! Ileana’s is a beautiful place. Everyone there is so nice and makes you feel welcome. I happened to be in the area and needed my hair done. I did a quick search and found Ileana’s. I called to see if they accept walk-ins which they do and I can truly say I was not disappointed at all. Gleny was quick and efficient and my hair looks 🔥 I will definitely be back!

I went one time to this location thinking I finally found a decent old fashioned hair salon. I’m natural with type 4c and my curls were flourishing especially 3 years after a big chop. I care about my hair and I just wanted a normal blow out. They ended up frying my hair causing heat damage. I cried so many times today it was insane. And not even a protein/steam treatment could revert it back. Never going back there again. Women of 4c and natural please don’t go here if you care about your curl pattern. I take pride in my hair, it make sure it’s healthy and kept well on a weekly basis. And now it’s ruined after ONE visit. Nicole, our stylist, provided exceptional service in styling my daughter's long, curly hair. I particularly appreciate her use of a roller set, which effectively protects the hair from heat damage during the blow-drying process. Very pleased the results!😀
