Island Sun Tanning Somers Point

I was very disappointed with Island Sun Tanning. When I saw the sign for the place, it said "hair and nails." I really needed a nail appointment, so I was excited. I went in there and asked for a nail appointment. When I asked, they told me that they did not do nails. I was confused. They sign clearly stated that this was also a nail salon. In my opinion, there should not be a sign that falsely advertises this store. The whole experience was a bust. I walk out of the tanning salon, feeling nothing but disappointed. If I were in charge, I would take down that sign right away in order to not mislead valuable customers like me. Maybe the tanning might be good, but it would be better if the sign out front was actually correct. Overall, I would rate this place a 2/10. 😡😡😡😡😤😤😤😠😠😠🤬🤬🤬😖😖😖

I’ve been to many tanning salons over the years, and unfortunately, this was by far the worst experience I’ve had. The salon felt neglected and poorly maintained. They advertise hair and nail services, which they do not actually provide, and there are serious issues with security—my lotion was stolen from the back area. The tanning beds themselves are ineffective and did not provide any noticeable color, even after consistent use. Additionally, there was a time limit I was unaware of, and because I didn’t end up using the bed during my session, I asked to reschedule—but was told I couldn’t tan again or receive a refund, even though I never actually used the service. I love this tanning salon. The beds are great and the staff is awesome. Julia is one of the sweetest and most helpful staff members ever. She answers all questions and is always pleasant and asks about how you are. Jackie is also amazing. I definitely recommend going there.

Love this tan salon love Julia Michelle they’re the best! And you gets so tan and shut out to Julia and all the ladies they make you feel welcomed everyone is so friendly I have been going for 5 years !But my girl Julia is so professional and I can call her friend

Traveled from Reading to my favorite shore tanning salon. Clean, professional, excellent. Update 6/28/2022 Still 5 🌟 ⭐ 💫 🌠 🌃 I just don't know @ this season. August 2023. Atmosphere is lacking happiness. Customer service is mediocre at best. Disappointing for the price you pay for services.
