Jackie & Judy do a great job on my hair. I have been a repeat client for years! I leave looking and feeling great. I have even left with some good life advice and encouragement.

I genuinely feel sad that I have to write this review. After going to Jackie for over four years. The service, and the quality has gone way downhill. Jackie has become increasingly rude and disrespectful. Any attempts to make a suggestion or point something out is seen as rude or disrespectful to her standard because she does not like to take accountability and believes she is above her clients. While Jackie is racially black, she’s not culturally black and it is very clear that she does not care about black women, who are the clients she primarily services. She once said to me “I like you because you’re not like other Black people” when I asked what I meant, she said “you know what it means” then proceeded to say that I wasn’t loud and ghetto, and don’t talk loudly on the phone. I came in almost a month ago. I love my cornrow tree braids! I was able to get in rather quickly. I still had to order hair or I could have got in sooner. Jackie was really patient with me. I sent her a pic and we texted back n forth about the length of hair to get. I was a bit nervous that it wouldn't be long enough. I only ordered 20 inches against her advice. It turned out plenty long for me. Her blessed hands made it work. It looks better than the pic. I came to this salon over about 10 years ago for some micro braids. I came back to try something new. I was hesitant to try a new style, but I am very pleased. Now all I have to do is make this bad boy last a while. Lol Thanks Jackie!

Jbraids has been retwisting my locs for 4+ years now and I love how they get me in and out, listen to my concerns and consult on hair maintenance. They focus on my hair, schedule, keep the appointment and are extremely professional. Thank you so much!!!!! Highly recommended!!!!

Jackie was wonderful. I had an idea of what I wanted and when she was done I didn’t quite like how it looked. Not only did she change it to how I envisioned it, she also educated me on my hair type and what would look best. 10/10
