Jacky African Hair Braiding/Jacky Cleaner

I was at this shop 2 weeks ago and I wasn’t going to write a review but I’m compelled to do so. The shop is nasty and they do not give you your own towel they use the same towel on everyone head. You see roaches crawling on the floor. The Braider was very rude and not friendly at all not looking for friends or anything but if someone is braiding your hair and it’s hurting you, I believe you are going to move. She, told me, she wanted to go home and I needed to stop moving. She, talked in her language the entire 5 hours and she never asked me if I was okay. Needless to say after I survived the pain and left with a sore head and after the soreness wore off it’s itching like crazy. I can’t seem to find anything to stop the itching. I’m about to dig my scalp out. I would never go back here aga

This was a spur of the moment visit to get 2 braids straight back. I went in just to see if they were available and they told me they were. I waited for about 20 min. and once the started the girl braiding my hair stopped for times to eat some fruit. I only needed TWO braids. The braids looked horrible, I made them re-do one before I even left. I sucked it up and paid and left. All the reviews about the condition of the shop and the children that run around are absolutely true. Never again will I be back.

My daughter went there to get her hair done and when she got home her braids were different sizes some were French braided instead of individuals but those were in the middle. 2 ppl worked on her head and one of them knew the other was doing something wrong but she did nothing to correct it. It's not worth the money! If u want your hair done perfect you would do a much better job doing it yourself. DO NOT LET THEM DO YOUR HAIR

The worst place to get your hair braided. They were so rude and unprofessional. Kids were screaming the entire time and if you have an appointment they will make you wait almost an hour before getting started with you. They cannot do good box braids. If you want your hair braided a certain way they will say “We can’t do that”. Not to mention they are overpriced. Never come here.

First, I love how my hair turned out. I came in and wanted my style the same day And she said okay and there was no wait. Second...the shop is not as clean as it could be. It's ran by family members though and they bring their kids too sometimes. So there are toys and food and even people sleeping on the couches. But this is also kinda pretty much what I expect at these types of shops. I'd be surprised if it were any different.
