I was actually looking for the salon next door, but they were so rude that I decided to check this shop out instead. The moment I stepped in, it reminded me of when I was a little girl going to the hair shop with my mom—the smell of grease and the real curling iron took me all the way back. I peeked my head in and asked the man sitting in the back if any stylists were available, not realizing he was the stylist (lol). He welcomed me right in, and before I knew it, we were talking, laughing, and he was cutting, trimming, and shaping the haircut I had chopped up myself. Never in my life did I think I’d find another stylist who could truly tame my 4C hair. Thank you so much, Mr. James!
