Janine's Beauty Works

I am a student at Merrimack, and have been looking for a good hairdresser close to school, and I am THRILLED to have found Janine’s Beauty Works. I suffer from trichotillomania, and have a lot of trouble letting people near my head, and her environment made feel incredibly comfortable and I was able to let my guard down quickly. I gave her pretty much free reign of my hair, and I couldn’t be happier that I did. I also got my eyebrows waxed, and am thrilled with how they turned out! She is beyond sweet (and fun), and so very clearly committed to her customers and their satisfaction. Janine is my new go to, and I wish I found her sooner! I love my new hair, and my confidence has already grown only 2 days later! Thank you, Janine! ❤️

Janine is fantastic! I got a perm from her and I can't tell you how many compliments I've received. And so many thought it was natural. She is great at highlights too! She makes you feel so welcome. A+++++

I cannot recommend Janine highly enough. First, she is incredibly talented. I have had my hair, eyebrows, and nails all done by Janine, and all have turned out beautifully. Janine listens to how I want my hair, and she makes my hair look the best it ever has. I can come in with a vague idea of what I want, and, like magic, Janine makes it happen. Except, it’s not magic, it’s the fact that Janine is extremely skilled and a great listener. Second, beyond her excellent work, Janine is one of the kindest people I have ever met, I look forward to going to my appointments with her not only because I come out looking great, but also because her warm and welcoming personality makes the entire experience wonderful. Janine is fabulous! She is the first hairdresser that I have consistently gone to. I have thick, semi wavy, coarse hair that grows VERY slow. Janine has always respected that and been very meticulous about not cutting too much hair while giving me a style I can manage easily- in essence, everything I’ve asked for! To top it all off, her prices are insanely reasonable and she will make time for you!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Janine!!! Extremely competent, professional, talented and overall fantastic. Before I even met Janine, she took the time to consult with me to make sure we found a style and color I was happy with. She is always very accommodating with scheduling, and goes out of her way to make sure each customer is satisfied, even following up after the fact to answer any questions and offer recommendations. Every time I walk out her lovely salon (which is IMMACULATELY decorated -by Janine herself - this is the woman of infinite talent!!), I'm feel renewed and inspired. Can't recommend her strongly enough - my only regret is that it took me this long to find her. Now I'm hooked!!!!
