Omg ! I so love this braiding shop. They do such a good job. I am super excited about the way that my hair turned out. It’s sooo fly. She did just what I wanted and asked for. Out of all of New York City and after trying several other braiding places, I trust any braider that works there. They get the parts right, they don’t drop combs and try to put them in your hair after and you feel at home since they are so welcoming. So worth the travel So worth the wait if they happen to be busy the will always make room for. Everyone stay well and stay safe. Love

Mrs Jay was so sweet. She took care of me right away and was very welcoming. I always like to be extra with my styles and she did everything I wanted to the Tee! Actually better than what I wanted. Highly recommend. Her prices are very reasonable and she so patient didn’t rush but also didn’t drag it. Please support this small business as there are other salons but people may not be aware of this hidden gem!

I took my daughter to get her braids done. We love their work. They are attentive and careful in their work. They always ask for a reference to make exactly what you are asking for. Definitely recommend them.

Jay and Sallie are like my sisters at this point. Been coming her for over 5 years, they never disappoint! Hair comes out flawless everytime!! They are friendly welcoming people who treat every customer with respect. Their price is also very reasonable compared to other shops. I've taken my mom and sister here over the years and would recommended to anyone.

10/10!!!! I came here super nervous because I’ve never been to the Africans to get my hair done. As soon as I walked into the shop, all the ladies greeted me with smiles & joy. I felt a little out of place at first obviously because I’m Hispanic, but they assured me they have done many Spanish sisters hair & they are family. Well after my experience, I’m family too! This was my birthday hairstyle, I asked for medium bohemian box braids with curly ends & brought my own human hair for added curls. $200 flat!!! Took about 5 hours since I have long thick hair, no pain, no extreme tightness everything was amazingly neat. Thank you again, & I will be back!
