I called and the owner was very disrespectful, i said id like to make a appointment, first words was “ have you ever been here before “ i said no im on vacation and he said no, go somewhere else and hanged up. Very rude my ig page is @bspriors and im a traveler.

Jay is an excellent barber and a really great man. You'll enjoy your time there. Wish I found him sooner than I did!

I have been going to get my haircut at Jay's since I moved to Federal Hill 25 years ago. Great neighborhood barber.

I was visiting the city for a wedding and stumbled upon Jay's barber shop. It was probably the most inviting atmosphere you could ever expect. Walked into a room of lifelong military friends telling stories and enjoying each others company. They involved me in the conversation seamlessly which is always a good feeling as a new customer. The haircut was perfect and included a straight razor for neck and a beard trim for an extremely competitive price. I am glad I stopped here and will absolutely be visiting anytime I am in town, whether I need a haircut or not. Thank you Jay for a great experience.

Jay’s a good man who gives a good haircut. I’ve been going to him for years at this point. He’s helped me navigate many different hair styles. His mantra is “we can always cut more off”. Meaning he’ll cut bit by bit and ask about how it’s looking throughout the haircut. Also, you can’t beat the price point. He’s not doin it for the money, he’s here for the community and to cut someone’s hair every now and then.
