JC Nail & Spa (Jerusalem Ave)

I’ve been coming here for five years and it’s the best. James is wonderful. I’m a natural nail gal and love the way my nails have been transformed back to their glory. The spa pedicures are the best and relaxing. Make sure you make an appointment for ease of getting in to a specific time. So many choices, acrylics, powder, neck massages and more.

I used to live in Queens and loved my nail salon there. Trying to find a place just as good was a nightmare until I came here. The salon is so beautiful, clean, big and comfortable. Not only to mention they do an amazing job on nails as well. I usually stuck to basic nails but started getting designs and they never upset me with their work!

Jessie did my nails today, and huffed and puffed when I asked for a deep French with tips. As she worked on my nails, I told her my nail shape was a little too pointy, as I asked for narrow almond shaped nails. She was visibly angry and filed down my nails to all different lengths, tossed my hands at me and said “check.” When I told her some of my nails were crooked or shaped differently, she said “that’s just your nails. Just put it there (into the UV light).” She continued huffing and puffing even though I tried to speak to her calmly to bring up my concerns. In the end, I paid $115 for my birthday nails that literally all look like different lengths and shapes. I will not be coming back here and will have to go to a different salon to fix this.

JC Nails is truly the best! I won’t go anywhere else for my nails. Everyone is so friendly here and understanding if you want to change your color (or are indecisive like I am)
