Jeniza Nails and Spa

Walked in on a busy hour one day and got turned away, came back the next day for a mani-pedi and Mary gave me amazing service and a wonderful gel mani and pedi. My long nails are natural so I do my nails myself 90% of the time, and Mary took care of me as if my hands were her own! She paid extra attention to detail and gave me amazing tips and tricks to try myself. I had a wonderful time speaking with her. Unfortunately I’m visiting the area and only come to Tempe every few months but plan to come back when I’m in town. Must say, not having chairs I didn’t even think about like other reviews until I read it online. Didn’t bother me at the time— but can see why people were surprised.

My friend and I walked in on sunday afternoon 11/24. Both of us asked for pedicures, she wanted a gel manicure and I asked brought in fake nails to be glued on. Our pedicures came out very nicely done and my friends gel nails look AMAZING! But the lack of stars is due to the nail technician basically butchering my nails. She first off tells me that she has never applied fake nails (you know the glue on ones from the drug store) and asks me how it’s done. I tell her all she has to do is size and glue them on. The first nail she attempts to apply is my pinky nail & she doesn’t place it correctly. I’m taken away and kinda don’t really know what to say. At this point she’s actually going back and forth between my friend and I doing a little here and a little there to the both of us. While she’

Walked in on a Saturday afternoon and got right in. I was a little leary as there was no one else in there. Turns out, I was very pleased with my gel nails when Mary was done. She was very sweet and kind and took her time making sure she did a good job. 4 stars only because I have never paid $75 for any nail service. She does however guarantee her service and told me they should last 5 weeks.

I’ve never had a better experience at a nail salon than at Jeniza’s. Mary is a very experienced and skilled nail tech and takes the time and effort to ensure you get exactly what you asked for. This will definitely be my go-to salon.

I love gel manicures and this place gave me the best one I've ever had! It lasted 6 weeks before chipping at all! (Of course, my nails grew out a ton and eventually they were so long it was a little creepy, but I couldn't believe how long the mani stayed in tact so I left them on just to see!) Now it's the only place I'll get them done.
