John Allan's club is a fine place to receive mediocre service. I appreciated not having to determine where I was getting my haircut when I was in need of one. Other than this element, the customer service is pretty abysmal, particularly with the Office Manager. The receptionist and Office Manager were frequently not present by the end of my appointment, which did not provide me with an opportunity to schedule my following appointment or get change to tip the stylists and manicurists. When calling to schedule my following appointment across two different weeks, there were no available appointments that worked for me. I’ve been going to John Allan since 1995. Overall the service level and services are great - fun, relaxing, not too fancy but a nice break in the day - pool table and bar are good adds to a haircut, shoe shine, and manicure. But the real reason I have stuck with John Allan for all these years is Brianda! She’s the best stylist in town, makes you look great and feel great every time, super friendly, and just a lovely human. Literally only one person has cut my hair in 30 years.

Great place in midtown. Full service includes shampoo, hot towel, manicure and shoe shine. The entire team is great and makes you feel very welcome.
