Johnnell Beauty and Braids

Where should I start? First, this is not a salon. It is the basement of someone's home. And I'm a professional woman who works hard for my money and I don't usually go to someone's home to get my hair done. It wasn't the ideal situation. Secondly, it was very hard for me to sit for 6+ hours while 2 people braided my hair, an infant crying and a toddler running around. I love kids but I leave mines at home for self-care and peace of mind. Third, both ladies lack braiding skills and experience. It should never take 2 people 6-7 hours to braid medium shoulder length braids. One girl had to part for the other and the one needing the help, she was braiding the back of my hair. Girl was pulling and ripping my hair so tight I broke out with bumps the following day and anyone who knows anything

Marie is a true stylist! My daughter is so pleased with her hair and so am I! Great communication, reasonably priced and very fast service! You can bring your own hair or purchase hair from her! Her prices for hair are very fair. Would highly recommend if you are looking for great hair braiding/twists!

Maria was very nice. Calm and relaxing environment. I did not feel pressured or overly anxious when going to a new stylist. Price was great as well. Not including the cost of hair. Bring your own hair
