John's Nails

I just left here and it was not great. I came in with my MIL for the holidays and left disappointed. There is a star only because my gel pedicure was decent. I asked the older man who was my tech, for a manicure and to shape my natural nails (I really hate acrylic) like almonds. I can stress the “My natural nails,” and made sure to say it twice before he even started. I show him a picture of the design and color I want and he says ok. Next thing I know, he has cut my natural nails so short that he can't even shape them. I asked him what he was doing and he said the shape and proceeds to pull out a case full of acrylic nails which I'm not getting. Yesterday, I went to get a fill in. It was my first time visiting them, so I was hoping for a good experience. It was nice that I was able to sit down and receive service within minutes of my arrival. 5/5 they are staffed adequately However, it was apparent that the man who provided my service was inexperienced. One woman came over and supervised for a little while. Red flag ❌️ but I still patiently waited as he completed the service. He didn't speak during the service, but would occasionally jerk my hand to put it in the position he desire. My Dad and I went for pedicure tonight, we didn't have an appointment but I called when we were on the way, my Dad has some difficulty walking and when I pulled up to the curb Michael opened the door and came out to help. From start to finish the experience was awesome (always is, but this was a first visit for my Dad, who is 74). Angel did his pedicure and Vickie did mine. I cant begin to tell you how awesome the experience was - they were both so attentive to my Dad and so patient, but not just that ...they treated him like an adult man, not an elderly man, not a handicapped man, just a man. Will not be coming back to this place again horrible place to get nails and toes done at I wanted to speak with a manager about my nails like they say the manager was gonna be there I got on the phone with some white lady who was saying the man wasn’t there so a lady named Susan did my nails 5 of them are just horrible and kept on going on them like 3 times just to get the damn stuff right I will never everrr ever be seeing this place again I won’t even come if I had a last nail shop to go to they are a rip off and will get you for your money . Been going here for years me and my mom and we love it there❤️ they do the best nails and eye brows and they are so sweet!!
