Jolie’s African braiding

If I could give a 0 I would, not sure who submitted the previous reviews but my hair is horrible .. looks as if it was did by beginners. The braids are uneven and the parts are in all directions with one large part down the middle of the back of my head, I paid for medium but have various sizes, none are consistent, I paid 260 for Senegalese twist, the most I’ve ever paid for them to look this bad. My hair looks nothing like the picture I shared with her. Save yourself the time and money and go somewhere else

10/14/22, my second visit. I came the day before so they could take my braids out. Take down cost $60 and I can’t do it myself. So yeah and it only took her 1.5 hrs where it would have taken me 2-3 days. . Thanking God for my husband who likes my hair braided so he pays for the process. Got a different selection of hair and it was a 6 hr hair braiding experience. This time my hair was braided a little to tight but I purchased this Braiding Hair Sheen to soothe it and after a few days it was all better. I do like the fact that it’s very neat and her braids last up to 3 months if you take care of your hair😩. Started with the niece who’s a sweetie and Jolie came to complete the front. I will be back in a few months 😊… of course with a different color☺️

I just moved here from California and I am so glad I found Anta! She did my hair so cute! She was so professional. My box braids lasted 2 months! She went above and beyond to make sure my experience was the best!

Jolie’s unprofessional conduct was unacceptable. She led us to an incorrect location in Conroe and then informed us that her website had an updated location, claiming it was 17 minutes away. However, it turned out to be entirely in Spring, Texas, which is nearly Houston. We drove all the way to Spring, only to be denied entry into the facility. When we inquired about assistance, she responded by raising her voice and screaming before hanging up the phone without providing any further response. Her behavior was extremely unprofessional. Despite having already purchased the hair we needed, we have decided to seek services from another professional. I strongly advise against visiting Jolie’s establishment if you are seeking a positive experience.

The establishment was spotless, which made me feel even more comfortable. The service was impressively quick without compromising the quality of the braids—they came out beautifully! It’s clear she takes pride in her work, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for top-notch braiding services!
