Josef's Hair Salon

Today I had my hair done for the first time at Josef's. Shawn was my hairstylist. She works wonders with the scissors and has an excellent eye for color. I'm so pleased with the results! Shawn and Josef create a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere at their salon. I look forward to being a customer for some time to come.

I have to say JOSEF'S SALON is the BEST PLACE IN VIRGINIA BEACH VA.... he has done my hair for 30 years and I've always got compliments. Thank you for the memorable moments with all my haircuts so very much appreciate your knowledge of hair that I've learned from you. I will continue to drive 400 miles for that haircut.😘👍

I showed up for a men's cut 50 minutes before closing time (according to Google maps). The OPEN neon sign was on and prominently displayed near the door. The woman who was standing at the door told me they were no longer open and were done. I cannot ascertain whether she doesn't like the Infiniti I was in, or Hispanics, or the military man. Given that, I suppose I'll never know... 🤷🏻‍♂️

Josef is talented and friendly and has many years of experience. His shop is clean, and his scissors and clippers are always sharp. His staff members are professional and helpful. This is not only a great place for hair care, it is a great place to catch up on the local fishing or listen to the local musical talent - very nice atmosphere.

The first time I went to Josefs I saw a lady hop out of her chair, run her fingers through her hair and just smile. I could tell she loved it. That's why I love my cuts from Josefs. Everytime I go there I get a great cut. I'm never let down. Although the drive far for me, it's worth it.
