You’re better off going to another nail salon than this one. I was charged $90 for a gel manicure and French tip and I wasn’t told of the price until after the nail lady finished. My cuticles weren’t even removed, nails aren’t even glued on straight, they don’t do multiple layers of the color you choose just one and done, and the French tip isn’t even drawn on precisely. When I asked to have the nail re glued she made it crooked again. It hasn’t even been a week and the gel is slowly chipping off already. Please take your money and time somewhere else!!!

I’ve been to JoyJoy twice now. The first time for a gel pedicure, would have rated a 4. The second/most recent for a hard gel manicure, would give 1 star. The prices are good BUT I would highly encourage anyone to go to Zorina and pay a higher fee for a fantastic experience and a gel manicure that last 3x as long as JoyJoy’s lasted me. I’ve been getting hard gel for over 2 years. They last me 3+ weeks. This gel manicure was poorly done, thin, and lasted me 11 days before my nails chipped and cracked after doing the dishes. I asked for a refund as I had zero interest in returning after having an uncomfortable experience and miscommunication with an associate. Following the miscommunication the woman talked about me to other associates while doing my nails. Uncomfortable and unprofessional.

Trina and her crew do amazing manicures, pedicures and I do my waxing services with Trina here often. Very professional. I love that the manicure tools are removed from a sealed packet each time as I know they’re clean. Love the look and location. Thanks Trina! I’ve also visited the one on 24th Street in Noe Valley. Great service there too!

Fantastic selection of colors to pick from of regular, gel polish, or dip. Busy in the evenings and on the weekends so if you're going with more than two people call ahead so they can accommodate and give you priority when you come in. There are a total of 10 seats for service with a small couch to wait. They also offer affordable waxing services (~$45 for a Brazilian) for the neighborhood. There is only one room for waxing so call in advance to make sure they will have time for you. Tips are appreciated in cash and if you want your shoulders rubbed after your nails are done it is cash only. Can pay for services with your card and there is an ATM on location.

Nice experience and ambiance, the place was spacious and clean. A lot of nail color selection. I went in for a manicure and pedicure gel, that same night my gel manicure chipped when I got home and in less than a week they had all chipped and were falling off. Pedicure still fine but disappointed for the price I paid to have them chip and fall off in less than 24 hours and gone in less than a week. They were lifting and getting caught under my hair immediately
