K BARBER

Came in for a quick haircut while home from school. I asked to cut the sides and back pretty short, but really only cut the the front and top so it was a little out of my eyes. I explained the style I like and how I like some volume up top so I can style it and have some flow, emphasized that a few times. The back and sides were fine, but when she went to the front she immediately cut it down to maybe half of what it was. She did the same on the top, leaving me with too little hair to do anything with besides maybe spiking it. Very nice staff, however very disappointed in a how it turned out, especially when I have clear instructions both on how short I want it and how I like to style it. I would think someone who works with hair would realize that you need some hair to style it, but now

Carlos gave me a genuinely BAD hair and beard cut. I arrived early for my appointment and was greeted pleasantly - they had a comfy waiting area - Carlos was available early and I was pleased by that too. That’s when the pleasant experience ended. My first time to the barbershop and first time with Carlos so I provided as much direction when asked what I wanted as I possibly could - this seemed to upset Carlos as he said most people just trusted him to “cut hair”. After over 45 minutes into a 35 minute appointment and the other barbers in the shop each finishing multiple other haircuts (all while pointing out to him spots he missed on me) I was left with a wildly uneven cut. too long up top and wayyyy to short of a beard that was also uneven. As a Marine who use to get haircuts every week, I give this barber shop my 100% endorsement. This is the best cut you’ll get on the west side of Colorado Springs. Make sure to check out Monica and Sydney they always do a great job and know how to do a great skin fade.
