K & K Nails

I’m not sure if this business simply doesn’t service African American customers, but my experience has been disappointing. I’ve visited this establishment twice on separate occasions, and both times I was turned away despite the sign clearly stating "walk-ins welcome." Today, there was only one customer inside. I explained that my daughter just needed a simple soak-off. The woman told me she didn’t have time because she had another scheduled client coming. Since when does soaking nails in acetone take up so much time? This place is poorly run, and based on my experience twice, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Great place! I like I can make an appointment. Tina the owner is great not only does a great job but always fun to talk too. Go see her.

My first time at K&K Nails. I was greeted right away. Tina was able to fit me in as a walk-in. My experience with Tina was exceptional. She was friendly, polite, professional. My gel nails are BEAUTIFUL and my ragged cuticles now look so healthy. Thank you Tina, I’ll see you soon.

You will not find a better nail salon. The people that work there are amazing and care so much about you and making sure you have a good experience. They know each of their customers and take the time to get to listen to you and really get to know you. They are always willing to help you decide on a nail color/design and are extremely patient and kind. This is not just any ordinary nail salon. I can’t imagine going anywhere else,.

The ladies in this shop are so jovial and pleasant. Their work is lovely and they’re meticulous about the outcome of their clients nails. I have no complaints about this nail salon. I’m so lucky to have been referred to K&K Nails after having a horrible experience with a downtown Birmingham shop a few weeks prior.
