K Nails & Spa

This is by far the best nail salon in Tampa. I have been to several nail salons and nothing compares. The prices are affordable and the work they do is absolutely stunning. At other salons I was nervous to do designs because they never turned out great. At K Nails I have never left with anything but incredible art that is better than what I asked for! They are quick and always so so so kind. I absolutely recommend the ladies at K Nails to anyone I can. I haven’t ever had so many compliments on my nails and people asking to take pictures of the designs. Absolutely my favorite nail salon and I love getting to see the ladies at K Nails!

For pedicures, I highly recommend Phan. She’s amazing and so sweet. Always does an incredible job. She’s why there are stars. She deserves 5 alone. Here’s my problem: I paid $160 for a manicure and pedicure after the $30 tip. I was there until almost 9 pm just on Friday because 1 girl was struggling so badly with applying acrylics, another lady had to go help her. It was 2 hours of 2 ladies doing my acrylics and they’re so uncomfortable and painful. They immediately have been pulling up at the bottom as if they’ve been on for weeks. And I wouldn’t be leaving this review if they were willing to correct them. I called a few times over the weekend and Monday. I explained the issue. Some lady told me to come in at 5 and hung up. I went to K nails for a dip manicure with tips. When it came to cutting down the tips, I had asked the lady to cut them shorter and shape them almond. I was given long nails that were wonky in shape and the clear coat was all smudged. I decided to go back the next day and politely asked the owner if I could have them filed down to be shorter. He replied with “maybe, I can try.” He begins to file them but hardly makes them shorter at all while also telling me I can’t do almond shape on the length I had which is what I do every time I get my nails done. I then proceeded to ask for a new clear coat because he had filed away lots of it. He put a clear coat on 2 of my fingers and when I asked for it to be put on all my fingers he said “oh my god” and only did two fingers. While my fingers were

I was visiting from out of town and thankfully they were able to get me in the same day I called. The gal that did my nails was super kind and you couldn’t tell she was doing her best. I just got a shellac manicure and she did a pretty good job. She kindly did a third coat to get the color more of what I desired. Unfortunately one of my nails chipped a week later but I was using my hands a lot that week. I was hoping they would have lasted a little longer. The gal did cut my nails a bit shorter than desired when I did say only a little. Overall it was a good experience and I would go back if I visit again. The hand massage was so great!! K Nails is an absolutely amazing salon. Lin and the rest of the staff listen and offer advice for any style nails you want. They are attentive and I feel absolutely pampered every time I go. I cannot recommend K Nails enough for anyone looking to treat themselves to an experience
