I have never left a salon feeling so ugly before. I'm not confrontational so I just said its fine. But when I got home I noticed how much uneven everything is. She blamed it on me because my legs were crossed. My legs were crossed for at least 10 seconds max. It shouldn't affect my entire haircut like that. I'm so sad. SHE WAS RUSHING A LOT because her next client arrived even before she even started working on me. I don't care if she had to wait a day, I was scheduled too! It's so unfair! Even if I tie my hair, it's so so ugly. My hair was long. I love it long so I asked her to just trim the end and just style it. She cut at least 3 inches long. I got the worst haircut of my life here from Ashley. I don’t like to write bad reviews but I don’t want anyone else to go through this. I was embarrassed to even go in public afterwards and had to get this fixed elsewhere. I asked for a trim on my bob and some curtain bangs. The back was entirely uneven and choppy, the curtain bangs didn’t match on both sides, the bangs were angled in the wrong direction. It was rushed and awful. The most important reason for my 1-star rating is the staff’s behavior. I experienced what felt like discriminatory treatment and a clear change in attitude once I mentioned that I had purchased the service through Groupon. Before I said I had a Groupon voucher, I was told there was availability. However, as soon as I mentioned Groupon, the staff member’s facial expression changed noticeably. I was suddenly told they would “need to think about it” and “check again,” and the tone became dismissive and unhelpful. Additionally, I was there with my baby, and despite employees standing around and not being busy, no one offered assistance or showed basic courtesy. I had highlights done here in early October using a Groupon and was quite disappointed. I paid around $120 for the Groupon, plus an additional $40 for glaze and more for a blowout. The whole process took about 3.5 to 4 hours — much longer than expected — and the color I received was not what I asked for. I decided to let it go at the time because the stylist was friendly and polite. Today, I returned for another (non-Groupon) service, hoping for a better experience. Start to finish i had an amazing experience at karisma salon! Staff was super friendly and dana did an amazing scalp treatment and massage on me! My hair smells and feels amazing 🤩 If you havent tried it get on groupon while the deal lasts! So relaxing ☺️
