Katrina's Hair and Nails

In the past year I've moved to St Charles from Chicago. Haven't had a haircut since I've been here. Two women in my office recommended Katrina at Katrina's Hair and Nails salon. I called in the morning for an appointment and Katrina was able to get me in in that afternoon. Found convenient parking in front of the salon. She was ready for me at my scheduled appointment time and gave me exactly the haircut and style I asked for. I'll be returning as a regular client.

Katrina offers many services and she’s great at all I’ve tried so far. She got me in for a last second bridal updo and it certainly exceeded expectations! Her manicures are magazine worthy, too. Simple, classy and elegant

Katrina is the best colorist I have ever had! Other colorists would leave that black dye behind that rinses out after several washings so you have no idea if you got the color you wanted. After Katrina colored my hair it was the color we had discussed. She takes the time to talk you through it too.

I had a full set. I was bit concerned about the cleanliness but I was willing to give it a try based on the good reviews. While doing my nails she was talking about someone else in the building that she apparently is having issues with. It was very inappropriate and made me uncomfortable. Lesson learned - I ended up with an infection in 2 of my fingers. When I called to discuss my concerns, Katrina was very confrontational and blamed me for poor hygiene. I will not be going back.
