Kay-Z African Hair Braiding

Paid $300 and my hair was falling out in one week! Came all the way from Roanoke Virginia four hours there four hours back and they did a horrible job on my cynical braids, They told me I could get one roll done in the front over and one row done in the back that was it worst experience ever, I should sue them because I’m pretty sure the lady that did my hair was not a professional license Hair Dresser.

Got large braids for $165. I wasn’t sure if they were going to have availability since it was last minute. I was told to sit asked about the price and had to wait for another woman in the back to confirm. I left my money in the car so they held my phone while I went to get it , had to send remaining balance on Zelle and was asked to wait until the manager was called to confirm I paid it AFTER I showed her the receipt. The Zelle was for $10. I left, they made me feel like a thief. I did get my hair done it’s really tight and they dip too far up so now my real hair is probably heat damaged. I should have went to another shop. This has never happened to me before and I have left my things in the car other times.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I arrived at 5 am and was not finished being serviced until 12:40pm. I was also overcharged. Which explains why they have no set prices on their website because they will confirm a price with you over the phone and try to make you pay an heftier price when you are finished being serviced. They also advertise that their hair is included. However, it is not. They charge $5 per pack. In addition, I was told over the phone my hairstyle would be $220. When they completed my style they tried to charge me $260 (I bought my own hair to the shop.) After explaining to them that was not the price I was quoted they began negotiating prices and asked me to settle with the charge of $240. Which leads me to believe that they are fully aware of the games they are playing

If I could give them zero stars I would. I called the 240 number at 11:23 on Saturday morning asked them the price of two styles I was considering the lady gave me a price. I went online that afternoon made an appointment for the next morning. I get there at my appointment time the lady asked what I wanted I told her Smedium knotless midback with wavy ends, she asked for a picture (I should of gotten up right then) but I looked for one and showed her. She calls a lady and gives me the phone she lady said the picture was of small braids and told me it would be 50 dollars more than I was told. I told her I called Saturday and was given a price she basically called me a liar. I had them take the cape off my and left. I have been coming to this place for a while, because they had quick braiders, you can come in super earlier and get out super early and the prices were reasonable.BUT now heck no, I got there at 4 am didnt leave until after 9 something, got medium shoulder length knotless braids, they definitely over charge now and they will tell you one price then its more when they get done. SMDH
