This shop offers an environment free of gossip & free of a lot of drama and people spreading other people business which is common in many shops. You can come in with your podcasts or read 📚 while she braids with no disturbance. I'm extremely happy with my braids & she is an Excellent top 👏 of the line braider. Will patronize again

I would not recommend using this salon . I went for microbraids. She told me 240 then braided my natural hair half way although we discussed it was to be braided to the end because its not relaxed. Then she braided the ones one top most of the way but then I the middle and back left a good amount of my hair unbraided. I then told me I would need to pay 300 to braided to the end. I would NEVER go here or recommend anyone else to go . It's a fraud.

When I arrived, I knew I'd made a mistake because the shop was filthy and she herself was unkempt and disheveled. However, my fiance had already paid her so I tried to make it work. When I attempted to explain my choice of style she became increasingly rude and unprofessional to the point that I demanded his money back and walked out. I am not surprised that others have had bad experiences here as well.

Last year , I wanted my hair braided a certain style for graduation from my university. I wanted the alicia keys style. The braids were beautiful, but kind of thick . I asked her to not put grease in my hair because I have mixed hair . I told , I'm part Egyptian and black. She was supposed to be fasting that day (I didn't know) I offered her food. When she started braiding my hair, she started popping me in my head and pulling on my hair, putting grease in my hair . It was kind of pretty. Three days later, the braids with my hair started coming out. My hair was shoulder length before I went to her and now (OMG!!!!!) don't know what to say. Never again will I go back to that lady . The only reason she got one star is because that’s the only way I can leave a review this lady is rude , dirty and very disrespectful! She lives in side of her shop it is unprofessional & not healthy . She slammed the door behind me because a I asked for a style I got from Africans in va she said if you want that style go back to them . . It’s Friday I walked out with my 220 still in my pocket ! Do not give her business
