Kim's Nails & Spa

I’ve been going to Kim and Nick for almost 20 years. I had been very happy with my nails. Two years ago I moved to Forest Lake. I’ve tried three other salons, and finally have come back to Kim for the nail care I’ve been missing. I walk in, she knows how I want them done, shape, and color. In fact, I trust her so much, I let her pick out my color. I’m very happy with Kims Nail & Spa and will make the trip to have her do them routinely from now on!

I called 10 minutes before arriving to find out if they could take 3 mani/pedis and one 1 mani (4 of us) at 4pm when they closed at 6 on Sunday. When we arrived there was only one customer there and we were promptly addressed and helped as soon as possible. I came in with my daughter, my son’s girlfriend and her friend. They were very nice and made conversation to these kids and me, very interested in why we were there today (I’m getting married this week!) and worked quickly. One other customer showed up right before closing which caused us to stay after 6, but they never made us feel unwelcome and still did a BEAUTIFUL job. This is my second time reviewing this place and unfortunately, it was another bad experience. The first time the man who did my nails kept raising the price mid service, which was really annoying (happened in 2022) I decided to give them another chance and tried a different nail tech but she was just as disappointing. She seemed irritated with me the entire time, did a poor job on my nails and was quite rough. it actually hurt. Keeps gaslighting me by saying “isn’t the nails so pretty” she can clearly tell I was unhappy. What really threw me off was when a Caucasian lady walked in suddenly this technician attitude completely changed and she became super friendly. It was such weird and uncomfortable energy. Absolutely loved my experience at the best nail spa!, Kim Nail Spa From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was relaxing and welcoming. Kim and her staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure I felt pampered throughout my visit. I opted for a deluxe manicure and pedicure, and the attention to detail was outstanding. They used high-quality products, and my nails have never looked better! The massage during the pedicure was a heavenly touch. I left feeling rejuvenated and my nails looked stunning. Highly recommend this spa for anyone looking for a top-notch nail experience! Highest stars all the way!
