As someone with multiple textures and curl patterns throughout my hair, I’ve experienced my fair share of disappointing haircuts. It can be hard to find a stylist who really understands the complexity of curls—until I found Kiss Kiss Salon. Since my very first visit, I’ve felt completely at ease knowing my hair is in expert hands. Kim is an absolute gem. She’s incredibly skilled with curly hair, thoughtful in her approach, and always takes the time to make sure the cut works with the way my curls naturally fall. Beyond her talent, she’s also a delight to spend time with—easy to talk to, kind, and welcoming. Sarah is worth the wait! I’m a new client. When I called the waitlist was 8 months. I figured why not wait? I had heard good things. Sarah really took the time to evaluate my hair. Like every curly haired person - every one (and curl) is different. She’s brought back curls that I thought were lost. She took time to teach as well. And she is just a good person. The cost may seem like a lot, but it was a two hour appointment and I left feeling heard and seen. In a salon setting, that has never happened to me before. I really appreciate what Kiss Kiss is doing! Adding a picture in hopes that she sees my bottom curls coming out! Thanks Sarah!

This is my experience, I’m not exaggerating, and I hope it is an anomaly. I hate to write reviews that don’t shine a positive light on a business but I also feel compelled to tell my story as honestly as I can. There was no one else in the salon so there are no witnesses to support or deny my review but I have nothing to gain by lying. If this place hadn’t promoted their business as having expertise in curly hair, I wouldn’t have expected anything special for curly hair, but they did. I never would have made an appt at a salon that charged $150 + tip for first cut ($100 thereafter) if not for their clear expression of expertise for curly hair. REVIEW: Not good, one of the worst. got a haircut recently for the first time with Kym- she is AMAZING! she took a lot of time to listen to what i wanted, understand my hair type, problems, and goals, and gave me a great cut and product recommendations. would absolutely recommend for anyone with curly hair.

I have been getting my hair cut by Martina since 2018 and I refuse to let anyone else touch my head after a few mullets and unshapely haircuts. The haircut and the grow out are amazing every time. Every good hair day I find myself saying “thank god for Martina.” You can show up with dream hair pictures and she’ll shape your hair with your goals in mind. Martina has given me a cute curly bob all the way to helping me grow out a shag inspired style. I’ve shared photos of my grown out hair and right after my hair cuts. It is worth the wait to get into Kiss Kiss Salon.
