Kiwi Nails and Spa Fishtown

Second time here. I had a good experience the first time getting a regular gel mani and a gel pedi. so I came back a second time. I booked an appointment a few days in advance and picked a specific nail tech to do my nails. When I arrived at my appointment, the nail tech I picked was not the one to do my poly gel full set and “organic” pedicure. The woman who did my toes did an okay job, I was satisfied. The man who did my nails did a really good job. When I went to check out I noticed I was charged a $5 upcharge for polygel full set (already $90) due to length. Which I could see if I got something crazy long, however nails weren’t even that long. This isn’t something I was told in the beginning when asked about length that I wanted. I’ve never been consistent with getting my nails done and I usually just did a basic manicure once in a while, but I wanted to start keeping them nice and well maintained. I came to Kiwi to begin my nail enhancement journey, and Titi has been amazing from the start! She took the time to explain all the options, and we decided on polygel. She’s patient, kind, and so meticulous in her work. My nails look natural and I consistently get compliments. As someone who used to feel intimidated by nail salons, Kiwi and Titi have made me feel completely welcome and comfortable. Now, I look forward to my appointments and can confidently say I’m a loyal customer. Highly recommend! 💅

Been coming to kiwi for a few months now and I highly approve. I get dip manicures, and frankly am quite rough with my hands LOL, but I have not once yet had any chipping or breaking. Whether it’s a solid color or a design they always deliver. Can be a tad pricey but for the artistry and quality of the work it’s worth it to me for sure. Highly recommend.

I went here a week ago to get a gel refill and a pedicure. My appointment was scheduled for 9:30…I didn’t leave until noon because my pedicure took over an hour. The tech who did my nails had nails so long she couldn’t wear gloves and she literally couldn’t hold my fingers and toes without stabbing me. She didn’t use primer which I thought was strange and now a week later my polish on both hands and feet are peeling. They started to chip after two days. Not to mention when she removed the gel from my last set she filed the polish off so close to my nail that they started to thin out and crack/break. I received a price on the phone that ended up being totally different than what I paid. The service was absolutely horrible and the price isn’t worth it at all. Cute shop though.

Kiwi is my go-to place for nails. I go every 3 weeks for a poly gel refill. Rachel is my nail tech and is *the best*. She does such a great job at not only shaping my nails but the designs as well. She is incredibly creative and can do the most simple to the most intricate designs. Great atmosphere, great pedicures too.
